Where's Your M

Where's your mind? No... Where is your motivation? Where does it come from? Is it a dream.. is it other people? Tell me... I would love to know where you all find your motivation.
Some people find motivation in setting a goal and accomplishing that goal. Setting a goal weight, a goal date, or even a goal of eating better.
Some people find motivation in quotes... funny sayings... or books to read. I do love to read motivating articles in my Oxygen Magazine. There are tons of motivation books out there.

My main motivation comes from others... strangers in fact. I love a great, motivating blogger or a motivating person on Twitter or Instagram. I am also motivated by my followers. If I set a goal with you all I feel obligated to accomplish it.

There are tons of people on Twitter that I find motivating, but what I have been loving lately is Instagram (@annar31). I think it is the continuous stream of photos that keep me motivated (thinking out loud). I follow people that post progress pictures, clean eats, fun fitness products, and even those that are preparing for competitions. I love it!

I usually check my phone in the morning in order to get myself out of bed. It really is motivating when someone on the East Coast has been up for two hours and has posted a picture of their workout they completed! =)

I have been thinking about competing for a very, very long time. I have never had the courage to start... mainly because I am afraid of what it entails. I am sure there is a fear of failure or no support, also.

While I am still thinking about that... What motivates you? Not even your fitness goals, but maybe what motivates you at work... school... or home. Where does your drive come from and your confidence to do things you wouldn't normally do come from?

Drum Roll Please

I came home from a busy day at work today knowing I needed to sit down and work on some homework.

Well, I took a pit stop... on my favorite blog, Healthy Diva Eats.

If you've been following my blogs and Twitter you know I have been participating in Katie's Show Me Your {tea} challenge. Well, this week...DRUM ROLL PLEASE...

I WON!!
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.
I started by reading her latest blog, Diva <3 Approved which I absolutely love. On to the next blog I went and there it was #teatime winner and new tea... this week's winner... ME! I won a box of LARABARs!

Ironically, this past weekend I almost picked up a few on my own while I was grocery shopping. I am so EXCITED I will get to try them now!!

I wish Nick would wake up so I can tell him already! ;-)

I must share with you all... I was dreading homework after a long day at work. I needed this today to remind me that positive smiles and excitement can be anywhere.
Of course I am taking a longer break from homework than I had planned ;-) BUT I had to share my enthusiasm and thoughts with you all.

On the days you don't feel like waking up for the gym, don't feel 100% or feel like giving up on your Eat Clean lifestyle.. remember there is always something positive just around the corner... even if it hasn't showed up yet!

I am so thankful I won this week's Healthy Diva Eats challenge!

Friday is tomorrow and I think I will take the opportunity to share some of my Favorites for Friday!

To all my followers thank you for your continuous support. I follow people that inspire me daily and I hope that I can be an inspiration to others... even just one person would make me fulfilled. I cannot wait until I can start offering great prizes and challenges for all of my followers! I will have to start working on this for you all ;-)

My note for today...
Never underestimate your ability to change a moment, the day...week... or life of a person! I must say the fitness and health industry has some positive and inspirational people! I look forward to continuing my journey with you all!!

See you tomorrow!!
=)

First Blog... Fitness First

Hi All:
This is my first posting and I am very excited to tackle one of my many goals for this year.
The purpose of my blog is to inspire people to be their best. Also, I would like for others to learn with me as I go along.
I look up to many fitness models who have worked very hard to get where they are. With a clean diet, a lot of support and love, and a great work out routine they made themselves in to something great.
I aspire to be great and above all inspirational to everyone, especially females.
I look forward to making my blog better each day and posting empowering and inspiring blogs.

Here goes...
About four weeks ago I started the LiveFit Trainer (http://www.bodybuilding.com/) by Jamie Eason! I am in phase 2 and look forward to big changes this next 8 weeks.
I decided on my Birthday (March 1st, 5 days ago) that this was my year for change. A cleaner diet, a dedicated work out routine, defined goals and a better attitude. I have always been considered "skinny", but never have I felt fit or "buff". It is time for change.
I aspire to be a personal trainer. This is one of my goals as well for the year. I want to learn all there is to being the best... and look the part too.
I have my own questions and as I research them one by one... I will post.
If you are reading this =) and have questions please send them to me... I want to only get better.

Thank you for reading!
Here we go...
Let's call this Day #1!

Xo,
Anna
